I stayed at Mowies for five nights with my family, and we honestly couldn’t have enjoyed it more. It was a 10/10 experience from start to finish!

The restaurant was exceptional. We ate there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner multiple times, and every single dish we tried was delicious. Everything was beautifully prepared using fresh, high-quality ingredients, and you could really tell how much care went into every meal.
What truly made our stay unforgettable, though, was the team. A hotel and restaurant are only as good as the people behind them, and the Mowies crew was simply incredible. Everyone was so warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. They work incredibly hard and always went the extra mile to make sure we had the best possible experience. We felt so well looked after and couldn’t have been happier.
If you’re visiting Gili Air, make sure to stop by Mowies—whether it’s for a meal or a stay. You won’t regret it! 🌴💛
Amazing restaurant! Good vibes. The food is delicious with generous portions. Highly recommend the tuna bowl. Fast service. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Adi was very pleasant.
Sitio ideal para ver el atardecer, ir pronto para coger sitio en la terraza. La cena bastante bien, tienen varias opciones aun que un poco mas caro que lo habitual en la isla

The staff are very attentive and friendly. We ate the tuna tartare, cauliflower croquettes, prawn tacos, barramundi with lemon sauce. Wine is acceptable. Even the chilled red gets to room temperature within 2 minutes. Super good value for money. If u r on Gili Air it’s a must do dining experience. But arrive in time for happy hour 5-7pm to enjoy the sunset light oking back over Gili T to Mt Agung.

Tener el hotel con su propio beach club a pie de playa era estupendo y muy comodo. La comida muy buena y con precios similares a los de la isla. Te proporcionan hasta toalla de playa y secador de pelo.

De kamers zijn leuk en gezellig ingericht en de beplanting er omheen is prachtig. Het strand voor het verblijf is prachtig en het restaurant daarbij is goed. Het eten is smaakvol en niet te duur.

De locatie direct aan het strand is perfect, de sfeer is heerlijk ontspannen en het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kamer was schoon en comfortabel en ook het zwembad was een fijne plek om af te koelen. Het ontbijt (50k per ontbijt) en het eten waren ook erg goed.
Eigenlijk hebben we niets aan te merken op ons verblijf. Het enige wat je 's nachts kunt horen zijn de bekende gekko's, maar dat hoort wat ons betreft gewoon bij een tropisch eiland en stoorde ons verder niet.
We zouden Mowies zonder twijfel opnieuw boeken en raden het zeker aan!

The…The team (especially the manager Bali) were very friendly and helpful (interesting thing was the men and boys had a lot more easy charm than the females). The location of the resort is fabulous- and the standard of international healthy food options was exceptional- I have travelled around six Indonesian 🇮🇩 islands and the Mowies menu was unique- and most enjoyable. My bungalow was set in lovely gardens and it was in a relatively peaceful area of Air - you do of course still get the distinct bass music sounds filtering through but they really aren’t intrusive. The restaurant on the beach is a very popular sunset chilling venue but the team willingly reserve tables or sunbeds etc for resort guests as a priority. Although I have made some comments about some improvements I would like to see I would most certainly choose Mowies when I visit Gili Air again. Bali (manager) was superb at really showing interest in helping guests to feel comfortable and cared for.
